As part of supporting project leaders and entrepreneurs, LaStartupFactory launched in 2017 its first batch of the Scalerator support program which subsequently became a permanent program coveted by young entrepreneurs from all over Morocco. This program lasts 6 months, dedicated to startups with high growth potential, Its purpose is to support startups in the deployment of their solutions until the granting of purchase orders for B2B, or the adoption of their solution by the general public for B2C. For this first batch, the call for applications generated more than 150 applications from African startups, after a selection process 22 startups were chosen to join this program, of which 12 startups succeeded in obtaining CCG grants to the tune of 200,000.
During the 6 months the 22 startups were supported in an exceptional space equipped with the latest technologies, they also benefited from the advice and support of a community of experts, coaches and passionate mentors, even training in soft skills, business and technological were ensured during the 6 months.
During Scalerator # 1, several "Open Innovation Lounge" were organized. An Open Innovation Lounge is an event that highlights technological startups and innovations that can serve large groups in their digital transformation.
The principle of the Open Innovation Lounge is to make large groups who want to accelerate their innovation process collaborate with startups with high added value solutions.
